COBA GENERAL MEETING HELD ON SUNDAY 13TH MARCH 2022 VIA ZOOM.

Chairman’s Opening Courtesies
In his opening remarks, COBA Chairman thanked members for their support which was giving him the strength to run the organization. He highlighted the difficulties imposed by the pandemic, yet he is enjoying overwhelming support from all members, which is keeping him and his executive going. The chair referred to his maiden programs; Feast of Christ the King and the Excellence awards program, which he described as major successes in the opening days of his administration. The parents of the awardees appreciated the Excellence Awards project, and he thanked the members of the awards committees for answering his call to serve. The wider COBA membership was encouraged to do the same if they are called upon to serve COBA UK, noting that the Project Committee needs members to deliver all the projects and fundraising activities that have been launched.
The chair reflected on the successes of his predecessor and shared that COBA UK is an outstanding chapter making other chapters look up to us for what would happen next.
